  • Engaged Learning Workshops

    These two-hour workshops focus on theory and practice of essential topics in community engagement.

  • Faculty Institute on Community Engaged Learning and Teaching (CELT)

    A two-day retreat designed for tenured or tenure-track faculty who are interested in community engagement and service-learning but who haven't yet made it a major focus of their teaching.

    • Funding: $500 research stipend
    • Program dates: May 21, 2018 - May 22, 2018
  • Engaged Faculty Fellowship Program

    A yearlong cohort program in which faculty dive deep into the theory and practice of engaged learning; meet monthly to discuss readings, share projects and workshop challenges; and help transform what it means to teach at Cornell

    • Funding: $3,000 (see details)
    • Program dates: August 23, 2017 - May 4, 2018
  • Cornell Public Service Center

    The PSC's Kaplan Family Distinguished Faculty Fellowship in Service-Learning recognizes two faculty members who are having a significant impact by involving their students in challenging service-learning programs.

    A daylong institute where staff gain a better understanding of community engagement at Cornell, learn how to best support engaged students, connect with colleagues and more.
