Celebrate the diversity of outstanding community engagement. Present your own project. Network with students, faculty, staff and community partners. Or just learn how to get started in community-engaged work.
All this and more happens at the annual Community Engagement Showcase. Whether you are exploring community engagement for the first time or you’ve been doing it for years, the Showcase is the perfect place to connect, learn and find inspiration.
The 2019 Showcase will be April 15 in Klarman Atrium and Auditorium. Apply by March 10 to be a student presenter.
If you aren’t presenting, you can still RSVP to attend!
- All presenters (individuals or teams) must create a poster and presentation based on the “What? So What? Now What? critical reflection model. (Don’t know what this is? See the next bullet!)
- Learn how to create a reflective poster presentation at the Be the Change workshop, March 20, 5 p.m., 120 Mann Library. (Dinner provided.) Individual presenters (or at least one person from each poster team) must attend this workshop. RSVP to reserve your spot. It pays to act early. The Office of Engagement Initiatives will pay the poster printing costs for the first 20 projects who are accepted to present at the Showcase AND who attend the workshop on March 20.
